My name is Rhonda d’Entremont, married and mother of 2. I am married to my awesome husband, Troy, we have 2 amazing children, Brandon who is 16 and Ciara who is 14. They are the reason that I quit my banking career of 15 years to stay home with them. The reason I began providing child care in my home is because I really enjoy working with little children and I wanted to supplement our family’s income.
I have lived in Arizona since 1973 but I was born in Mishawaka Indiana and raised in So. Bend Indiana. I have 5 brothers and sisters, where we were raised in a catholic home with many family values were thought and respected. I graduated from Coronado High School in Scottsdale Arizona in 1975. When there is time I love to scrapbook and make homemade cards.
I am CPR and First Aid certified, as well as, my CPS and FBI background has been checked. I currently have 14 plus years experience doing home daycare, during this time I have always loved working with the children and watching them grow. My family and friends are very supportive. Everyone has said that I have a way with children and I would have to agree. I just love to be part of a child’s life and help them learn and make new friends. I am amazed every single day by all of the children I care for and watch how fast they grow and thrive on life. I feel very blessed that I get to watch it all unfold. My philosophy is to provide your child a place away from home to come and have fun and learn in a clean, comfortable and safe environment that will help the children grow into a wonderful, curious, and happy person. I maintain a semi-structured daily program with regards to scheduled meals; rest periods and activities because I believe children thrive when their lives are predictable. I also, send home daily reports along with a monthly newsletter.
Your child(ren) will be exposed to an exciting program that includes a variety of music, reading, arts and crafts, indoor/outdoor and free play activities, all designed to stimulate his/her physical, intellectual, and social and emotional growth in a loving and comfortable home.
Please take the time to go over the website to ensure you understand what is offered in my program and the policies that are in place to help keep Rhonda’s Rainbow Childcare a happy environment for everyone involved. I have prepared this website to include the areas that are most important to me. Because I have my own family to consider, it is important that all of the respect my hours of operation, sick policy, and need for prompt payment of the weekly fee. It is also important that we are in agreement about my policies regarding vacations, holidays, and other absences.
As a partner in your child’s care, I will do everything in my power to keep the lines of communication open. My interaction with you is as important as my interaction with your child(ren). I thank you for taking the time to look over my site. You can be assured that I will do my best to provide an interesting day for your child(ren) so that you can have peace of mind while you are not present.
